The show last night at the black rose info shop, portland oregon. The crowd was small at first, but began to grow quickly. The room was freezing, they were not able to pay their heating bill this month as they run on donations. I began to get anxious for I absolutely hate playing guitar when my hands are numb, it always makes me so angry when I cannot feel my hands. As people came in from the cold I felt the warmth from all their bodies as we huddled closer and closer, at the height of the night there was probably about 45 people, all squished in their together. Like a answer to prayer my hands found feeling and as I played to an audience of about 30 people in this tiny book store you could not hear a a single voice. All eyes, ears, and attentions were set on me. makes my heart happy. I played 6 songs
1- standen in my driveway 2-what you don’t know right now 3-up up up and away 4-rainbows 5- twilight by elliott smith 6-Girl that is in the bottom of a cave
A beautiful night, getting rides home from new friends squished in car, whiskey, wine and warm hands.
